Good Memories

The more I read about a hard or even no-deal Brexit the more I hate it. Maybe, but just maybe -- it's a very tricky question -- a soft Brexit might make some sense. But -- at least for the time being and as long as things don't change dramatically -- more valuable than any form of Brexit should be the effort to keep the EU a reliable institution. However, a no-deal Brexit is hysterical nonsense. Again and again fond memories cross my mind: I used to live in the UK from 2009 to 2013 (in the East Midlands) and I enjoyed it. Thank God that was before Brexit, which hasn't even happened yet.
