There is/was so much to admire about the UK and US. Now Johnson and Trump are the embodiment of a massive decline. They are almost beyond satire, well, more and more they are. The rise of unregulated, dog-eat-dog capitalism since Reagan and Thatcher now brings us increasingly ugly scenes.
