Still so so so many Americans vote for Trump. Still, after Proud-Boys-stand-by, after kids in cages, after after after after. So what's the lesson here? The right-wing media must be regulated. Not only the right-wing media of course, any media organisation. But the right wing media is predominantly to blame for things like Trumpism. Facts matter. This is a lesson we all have to learn. How effective fact-free media is. How effective, how unfair, how damaging. It could even bring down a democracy, with a presidential candidate -- on election night -- falsely claiming victory and talking nonsense about election fraud. Undermining democracy.
