Sacco di Cherson

Remarable story of Russian ex-paratrooper Pavel Filatyev, for now the highest-ranking officer to speak out against this war. Filatyev has fled to France, and his book will be published in different languages soon.

It's still hard to imagine how badly treated Russian soldiers are, as if Tsarist times had never stopped. Filatyev says, that he initially thought they were fighting against Nato, so this war was very strange and weird right from the beginning even for the Russian soldiers themselves. And then it took them only a very short period of fighting to already become the protagonist of a new Sacco di Roma in Cherson, because the Russian army is so poorly equipped and supplied.
